$3,495.00
Monumental hand-carved giltwood pedestal featuring opposing winged griffins, sculptural putti, gadrooned urn forms, acanthus leaves, shells, and a boldly scrolled tripod base terminating in lion-paw-and-ball feet. Retains a richly aged gilt surface with desirable old-world patina. Continental, likely Italian, circa 1870–1890. Expected age-related wear, gilding losses, cracking, and minor imperfections.
